The presenter lacks eye contact and body language cues, and finding a way to keep the audience fully engaged and participating is no small feat. I was impressed by how well Jenine crafted her presentations, not only presenting quality information, but constructing the webinars in such a way as to continually engage the participants with questions, polls, and invitations for them to creatively use the drawing/writing features of the webinar software. This suggests to me that Jenine has that rare gift that all good teachers have–the ability to deeply empathize with the experience of others, gain perspective, and use that perspective to design and deliver a lesson that is easily received and absorbed by the student. Jenine has a tremendous sense of duty and commitment. She is proactive and works hard to put contingencies in place in order to successfully produce program that teens attend and are interested. The best librarians are connected to their teens and devoted to creating amazing possibilities to engage them. Jenine truly falls in this category. She is a tremendous librarian with a level of commitment and devotion that is unparalleled. Furthermore, she is fun, friendly, flexible, and unflappable. These are all qualities that Jenine possesses in abundance. I cannot recommend her more highly. She is a true leader.
